This policy explains what personal data UK Bakery ("we") collects, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
- Messages you send us (contact and "add a bakery" forms): your name, email address, message and the IP address used. Legal basis: legitimate interests in answering you. Kept for up to 24 months.
- Reviews: your display name, rating, review text and IP address (for abuse prevention). Legal basis: legitimate interests. Kept while the review is published.
- Your location, only if you press a "near me" button. It is used in your browser and sent to our server solely to sort results; we do not store it. Postcode look-ups are sent to postcodes.io.
- Analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them – see our cookie policy.
- Server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser) kept for up to 30 days for security.
Third parties
Maps are displayed using Google Maps embeds and map tiles; when a map loads, your browser connects to the map provider, which may process your IP address. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies; see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing or withdraw consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
